We have created the following materials to help you maximise the effectiveness of your fundraising campaign. Each file can be saved to your computer by right-clicking on the corresponding “download” link.
The colourful posters (in PDF format) can be printed out and put up around the school, in the classrooms, and in local businesses and shops. The press release (Word document or plain text) is for schools to download and edit, if necessary. Use it to promote your school fundraising scheme; send it to your local newspaper, include it in your school newsletter, or put it on the school website.

Some ways to maximise the effectiveness of the project for your organisation
- Let parents know as soon as possible that their children will be designing artwork that they can purchase on a variety of products. This is especially important if your fundraising project theme has a specific date such as Christmas or Halloween. Otherwise, they may buy cards before the school cards are sent home.
- Inform and involve as many people as possible: e.g. parents, the PTA, local newspapers and local businesses.
- Try to keep a structured timeline, especially for a fundraising project that has a specific date, so that there is plenty of time for as many people as possible to see the design and place their orders.
- Provide a link from your organisation’s website to your organisations Art Gallery on the My-Fundraising-Project website.
